Back by popular demand! The 12 Mysterious Days of Spring is a unique, one-of-a-kind murder mystery experience that has left our past Detectives wanting more!

It all started in the winter of 2022, when I decided to find a way to give our clients an advent calendar-style experience for the 12 Days of Christmas. It was new, a little weird, and unlike anything else on the market! The results were, quite honestly, overwhelming. Those who participated in the first ever 12 Mysterious Days submitted murder walls, google sheets, powerpoint presentations and more with their accusation! Since, we have run 2-3 events a year. This marks our first 12 Mysterious Days experience for 2025 – and it’s going to be one for the books!

WHAT IS THE 12 MYSTERIOUS DAYS OF SPRING?

This advent-calendar style mystery investigation a clue delivered to your inbox each day. Expect a video, text, images, mp3s and more to help you piece together what happened, the suspects, their secrets and motives and, ultimately, who is guilty of murder! At the end of the 12 Mysterious Days of Spring you will cast your accusation against the suspect you think is guilty for the chance to win prizes, gift cards and more!

In the past, we have seen bosses buying a pass for their employees and having each person investigate independently, but the accusations as a team event. There were groups of girlfriends who each got a pass, then got together over wine before casting their accusations to compare notes. We received pictures of “murder walls”, slideshow presentations about who dun it and why and more. We can’t wait to see what our Detectives come up with for Spring 2025!

This time, by popular demand, we are going back to the beginning, to investigate the murder of Alan Puckett. How Alan Puckett Kicked The Bucket was the first murder mystery set in the quaint seaside town of Ruby’s Trove. While it’s available as a full murder mystery party game, with the 12 Mysterious Days of Spring, you will investigate Alan Puckett’s murder without throwing a mystery party.

It’s just YOU vs. The EVIDENCE

You, or you and your bestie, or you and your sister, or you and your neighbour, or you and your book club… Detective teams are encouraged, but if your idea of an amazing Friday night is watching Dateline in your comfy pants (like it is mine), you can absolutely take on this case yourself.

How Does It Work?

Shockingly, there has been another murder in Ruby’s Trove. Each day you, as part of the Ruby’s Trove PD will receive a bit of information about the murder. Then, at the end of the 12 days, you will form your theories and cast your accusation for a chance to win prizes!

We have a Facebook Group of other Detectives. While it will be spoiler-free, we discuss the case and just generally have fun. We will also have a virtual kick-off and wrap up party. We have been told the wrap-up parties have been fantastic for connecting our Detectives, and a true community of mystery lovers has formed around The 12 Mysterious Days!
